Is there a big difference in cheap/expensive soccer ball?
I'm wanting to get a soccer ball just so I can start playing and practice with but I keep reading how there are many types of balls and how some aren't official and some are or whatever.
I'm just looking for something I can use that is cheap($30 or less.) Is there anything specific I should be looking for when buying a ball?
I'm 19 and live in the United States if those matter. I know I need a size 5 but apart from that I'm not sure. I just want to know if I should just go to Wal*Mart and get a $10 ball or if I should invest more in like a $30-40 Nike ball or something.
Also, when starting out do shoes matter?
you don't need to spend a lot of money on a soccer ball. you can just get one at walmart and it will work just fine. AS for shoes, if your just playing around tennis shoes will do just fine, if your serious about it you should get some cleats. Just find some that are comfortable. Have fun!
