is it okay if i buy soccer shoes half a size small ?
i wear a uk size 11.5 and when i went to germany i bought soccer shoes size 11 (uk) . i bought the new predator POWER pulse . i was wondering if this is okay or not. the shoe doesnt seem very tight or anything but its a nice tight fit, enough for me to feel that if i wind up and shoot , it will be a thunder of a strike . what do all of u think ?
No, it's quite common. I've always bought my cleats half a size smaller than regular shoes for the last 10 years now and I know many players who do the same thing. I have found the snugger the cleats are, the better you can get a feel for the ball which then enables you to have better control, and from my experience, harder strikes. Wear them for a few weeks to stretch out the fibers so that the shoe conforms to your feet. They will soon become as comfortable as slippers.
