I go to a school with dreaded uniforms, terribly uncomfortable chairs, very long classes, boring teachers, and classes that don't challenge me and consume my time that i could be using to write a book i've always wanted to write or just to play outside soccer or softball whatever with my friends and family. i just really wish i could get my education not by going to an actual school and sitting in the plastic old chairs for 75 mintues hearing (not learning) my teacher mumble about peninsulas or african cultures, whatever it may be. people have suggested to me homeschooling, but both of my parents have full-time jobs and couldn't teach me. my neighbor homeschools her kids but i would really doubt that she'd teach me too! so forget that. i just think that life is too short to be doodling in your notebook for 5 hours a day! does anyone have any advice or suggestions, or even a good luck if you can't think of anything? best adive/suggestions gets 10 points. thank you so much
There are several different routes available to you. First, video schooling! Abeka Publishing offers Abeka Academy which is a christian-based school. You can do your school through video at home. There are several secular schools also. There is also online schooling, try searching the online homeschooling. I believe Keystone is an online school. This is also called virtual school. Bob Jones is another christian school which offers satellite education. Whatever you decide, I suggest doing the research and presenting your professional proposal to your parents, giving the benefits, the costs (if any), materials needed, and how you plan to get the materials, time involved for you and for them, your business plan, your daily schedule, and also the benefits to them as parents allowing you to home educate.
