and i want to tryout for goalkeeper and my brother played goalkeeper all 4 ears of his high school career and he plays college soccer now and i kinda fear the ball and my sister also plays soccer middle school soccer but the only problem with this is my parents hate the coach because he was so mean my brother but i relay want to do soccer and i played it once when i was 5 then after 3 games i quit so what should i do help
1. if your afraid of the ball you should play goalkeeper...or get over that fear because at most any position there is some contact with the ball other than the feet.
2. in high school soccer there is a lot of dedication and teamwork so you shouldn't tryout if your going to quit after so many games.
3. it sounds like your just trying to fit in with the rest of your families interest if this is so you should try to branch out and do your own thing.
